Terms

Terms for using Converterer.

These terms apply to converterer.com, related subdomains, the online tools, and the Converterer API. By using the service, you agree to them.

Effective date: 16 April 2026

Accounts and security

You are responsible for your account, API keys, and any activity that occurs under them. Keep credentials confidential, use appropriate internal access controls, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

You may use Converterer only for lawful purposes and only with content you own or are authorised to process. You must not use the service to infringe rights, distribute malware, abuse shared infrastructure, bypass security controls, or interfere with other users.

Compliance obligations

You are responsible for complying with laws, regulations, contract terms, and internal policies that apply to your use of the service and the data you submit to it. Where personal data is involved, you remain responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for processing it.

Fees and billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Included usage expires at the end of each billing period unless we say otherwise in writing. Refunds, if any, are handled according to the pricing or plan terms in effect at the time of purchase.

Ownership

You retain your rights in the files, content, and data you submit to Converterer. We retain all rights in the service itself, including the website, software, branding, documentation, and any related intellectual property.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, respond to legal requirements, protect security, or enforce these terms. You may stop using the service at any time, and paid access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Service terms

Operational rules.

The service may evolve over time, including supported formats, limits, pricing, APIs, and product features. We may modify or discontinue parts of Converterer where reasonably necessary to operate the service, improve the product, or respond to security, legal, or commercial requirements.

You must not reverse engineer the service, resell access without permission, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, or use automated traffic that unreasonably degrades platform performance.

If you are using Converterer on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Disclaimers

Warranty and liability.

Converterer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect conversion output, or error-free operation. You are responsible for validating outputs before relying on them in production or regulated workflows.

To the extent permitted by law, Converterer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service during the three months immediately before the claim arose.

Legal framework

Governing law and claims.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, excluding conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to the service will be subject to the applicable courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

Any claim relating to the service must be brought within one year after the cause of action arose, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will post the updated terms here and may notify account holders using the contact details on file.
