2018: Paperplane launches
We started with Paperplane, a fast API for converting websites and HTML into PDF. It became a useful tool for invoices, receipts, reports, and generated documents.
About
Converterer started with one practical need: reliable website capture. Over time, that expanded into a broader platform for documents, images, audio, and video conversion.
Our story
We started with Paperplane, a fast API for converting websites and HTML into PDF. It became a useful tool for invoices, receipts, reports, and generated documents.
Customers kept asking for more than website capture: image conversion, office document workflows, audio extraction, and video transcoding.
Rather than bolt everything onto a narrowly named product, we built Converterer as the wider platform for real conversion workflows.
What we do
Send a file, specify the target format, and get the converted result back through a straightforward API.
Use the same platform from Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, and other workflow tools.
Test supported paths and one-off conversions quickly through the online tools before integrating properly.
Company
Converterer is built and run from Melbourne, Australia. Site, API, and support all come from the same place.
Coming from Paperplane?
If you are an existing Paperplane customer, nothing changes for you right now. Paperplane continues to work as it always has. Converterer is the broader platform direction, not a forced breakage event.
